How Should Parents Help the Children Homework?
It is the consequence for children at school to have homework. It is a reinforcement on their understanding about the lesson at school. But it seems many parents are conflicted, feeling have no knowledge enough to help them, especially when their kids get frustrated, angry or give up. Of course, it’s not your job to “teach” your child the subjects they are studying at school. Teaching is done best by the professionals on education. What you have to do is encourage and motivate them.
Parents Involvement in School Activities
Research has repeatedly shown that children succeed academically, socially and emotionally and become more well-rounded and balanced individuals if their parents are involved in their education and school activities. However, a lot of parents do not give their interest because of some reasons. Most parents will say they have no the time or energy. They perhaps feel uncomfortable and some of them are confused, or even just do not know how to participate. If the parents have low education, they will say that they do not know much about the lesson.
